I recently inherited a computer with Office 2000 and other programs
installed. Anmong them is Access. But when I mash the icon for, or
click on the .exe file for the databas program, I get an error message
saying "Can't find the database you specified,or you didn't specify a
database at all. Specify a valid database name in the command line,
and include a path if necessary."
If I specify the one database that came with the pooter, I get just a
dark grey Access work area, with no cells or data. The only items on
the file menu are "close" and "exit"; the word "ready" is down in the
lower left corner. Am I doomed to use only Works databases forever?
