I have noticed that SNMP service is running on my computer.
According to Microsoft knowledge base this means that it
have been installed on my computer, but i did not install
it! Even it has bypass my firewall and got permission to
communicate to some IP address on the web, although i did
not give it that permission. could it be a possible hacker
attack? what should i do?

You can always uninstall the SNMP service from Add/Remove
Programs->Add/Remove Windows Components.

It's under Management and Monitoring tools.

To add to the other comments, you should also close the port in your
firewall then nothing will get out. If you are assuming it's some form of
trojan that installed then have you run an anti-trojan scan on your system?

IIRC, SNMP isn't installed by default on any Windows system and the first
time it's installed you need the Windows Install CD for SNMP to be
installed correctly. Could one of your users of this PC (or is it just
you?) have installed it without your knowledge?

I already tried that with no luck. seems like unistall
process goes through but it does not delete the SNMP
components from my computer.

Simply uninstall the service.

- Add/Remove Windows components
- go to management section, select SNMP agent and remove

Try to disable the service first

if this doesnt work let us know there are brute force ways to get rid of it.
