Hi
I bought a new soundcard (an Hercules Fortissimo II Digital Edition) since
the one I had was crap. All works perfectly... except for a "Feature" of the
drivers I don't like at all.
When the card is set to "Digital Output", the Volume slider ceases to work
(and so does the "Mute" checkbox). The only way to change sound levels is by
changing the "Wave Slider".
The manufacturer says it is so to have the best possible sound quality...
but in this way no application can change the sound level... starting from
my Keyboard's.
Now the question: there's any way (registry editing, utility... what else)
to associate the main volume slider to the wave one?
Please help me... I'm going mad with this
Thanks
