Hi...Does WMM have a second video track available? I'm trying to "b-roll"
over sound clips , but I don;t see any way to lay the video over them...other
editing software offers a second video track to do this...does Windows Movie
Maker?

Thanks

I am not sure what it is your actually trying to accomplish but Rehan has a
transition/effect that creates a Picture-in-Picture kind of effect. Maybe
that helps.

I think B-roll is the term used for inserting another clip while the
audio keeps going from the first one... and after the second clip
finishes the first one continues...

This is done by seperating the audio from the video and then cutting the
video track and inserting the second clip.

Ctrl-drag the main video into the Music track and mute the audio of the
video track by right-click->Mute.

Find the length of the clip to insert and cut the same length of main
video track using the Split button beneth the preview screen (Ctrl-L).
Remove this clip and insert the second clip.

ahhh, had I known what B-roll meant I would have given the same advice.
