Hi

I'm trying to take a graph from Access as a .snp and place it into Word as a
linked object. However, when I try this I run into a number of difficulties.

1) It appears in Word with a blue background around it.
2) It does not display the full snapshot image and when I try to resize it it
simply enlarges the selected image rather than expand to include the missing
parts of the image.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Do you get the same behaviour when you view the Snapshot file directly
wihtin the Microsoft Snapshot viewer application or even with a Snapshot
ActiveX control inserted on a standard Access Form?

The Blue background is normal. It sounds like a resolution issue.
Generally when we see the results you describe, the SNapshot was
produced set to a specific printer with specific settings for resolution
and this same printer is the default printer for the system with a
different default resolution setting.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Stephan.

In the snapshot viewer it seems fine it just looks like any print preview. As
for ActiveX, that area is beyond my understanding at the moment.

When you say the blue background is normal, are you saying that when inserted
into a .doc it will always show the blue border? If this is the case then
maybe this is not the solution that I am looking for*. I would have imagined
the goal is to insert it in a similar fashion to a picture.

With regard to the printer settings, can I correct this and if so where?

* Perhaps I will post another thread explaining what I am trying to achieve
and hopefully somebody can guide me in the right direction for a solution.
