I am using Access 2000

I created an Access Program in which an Access report
will be sent to someone else. I did not have good luck
using Window's "File > Send to as attachment".

So I added a control button to send mail. There is a
format that appears to work; the Snapshot Format. I can
send the form to myself in this format but if I send it to
another employee he can not bring it up. He also has
Access 2000 on his computer. Do you know if the snapshot
format comes from Access or Outlook. (I could not find it
in either of the help screens.) How do I get his computer
to recognize the Snapshot format. Sometimes I know that
programs have a variety of hidden options that are not
available until they are turned on. Do you think this is
the case? Can someone offer a suggestion as to what to do?

Snapshot format requires a free viewer program to be installed similar to
the way you need a viewer to look at PDF files. It is small, free, and
very easy to install as it has no setup options to deal with. The viewer
can either be installed from the Office CD (Office 97 SR1 or higher) or
from Microsoft's web site.
