I've just upgraded to Access2010 and I can't seem to format my text
boxes as I used to.
to keep everything nice and neat I used to size the fields to grid
then "snap to grid" so they would all line up.

I don't see any snap to grid feature anymore - is there another way to
do this?

tks

Look at the options under Align on the Sizing & Ordering area on the Arrange
tab, or right-click on the control and select Align from the context menu.
To Grid is an option there.

Thanks for the help. I did what you suggested and it doesn't seem to
make any difference. I think the problem may be with the "size" of the
grid on my form (in design view). Can you tell me how to make the grid
smaller? The squares i'm working with are approx 1 cm in diameter.

That's the GridX and GridY form properties.

While I do use the snap to grid feature, I find it kind of
clumsy and sometimes just set the control's Top, Left,
Height and Width properties (Copy/Paste can be your friend).
And don't forget that you can use the selection rectangle
and/or Shift+click to select multiple controls and set some
properties for all the selected controls in one shot.

Thanks Marsh, i'll play around with your idea
