Snap to grid feature gone???

The PowerPoint drawing tools have been great for a number of years, and I
regularly use them to create line drawings for technical presentations.

Now in Office 2007, the Snap To Grid feature for the Freeform line tool does
not work! Snap to grid is one of the most useful features for technical
drawing! I can no longer draw a square wave, for example!

It also seems more difficult to get a line to be perfectly horizontal or
vertical. Holding down the shift key while dragging a new line should
constrain the possible angles available.

Sorry this isn't going to actually help!!

There are good things in 2007 but the freeform tool isn't one of them - it's
a mess (IMO)!

As well as the problems you mention it has a tendancy to insert curved
sections for no apparent reason (the mouse moved ever so slightly OK he
want's a curve.)
