Hi Carey,
I went to the URL as you directed, but it is not totally
clear.

It says to PATH environment variable. (Do I double
click "Path" or "PATHEXT"?)

It then instructs to type in a string of values. However
it also says that if other system variables appear, not
to remove them.

Under Path, there is an existing variable
value: "Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\" (So do
I type in the new value before or after this?)

Thanks, Scott

Further to my earlier reply to this advice, the Path
variable value is currently: %SystemRoot%\system32;%
SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program
Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\

So what should it say instead??

Thanks!

Hi again, I have tried this but I still get the error
message:
Snap in failed to initialize.
CLSID:{45AC8C64-23E2-11D1-A696-00C04FD58BC3}

The code on the error message is different from that
shown on the web site as a reason for the problem.

Is there another reason for the problem?

I have gone back and entered the following in the Path
Environment Variable:
%SysterRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%|System32
\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\

What must I do to fix the problem? Thanks,Scott
