I recently installed Win2KAS with a default install of web services,
and I see that the SMTP service is installed but disabled (I may have
disabled it awhile ago). I set it to start automatically and it does
start, and emails are being sent out.

When I go to ISM, however, there's no default SMTP site set up, and I
can't see how to create any new ones...there's no option to create a
new SMTP virtual server under the "New" submenu.

help?

Thanks H.K.:

Actually, the answer is not that simple. I of course DID install it,
and I did note that I was able to send mail without a problem from the
server.

I turns out that there's a bug in Internet Services Manager that
prevents it from displaying the SMTP Virtual Server unless "File and
Print Services" is bound to the network adapter. I had to re-select
that option under the network adapter properties to get it to work.
