I have been having problems sending email through Outlook 2003.
Whenever I try to test account settings or send an email, i get one of
two messages:
0 X 800CCC0F: The connection was interrupted or
0 X 800CCC6F: Server was found but responded 554, check email
settings.
I have spent over an hour on the phone to BT and they do not know what
the problem is, and have recommended i try the google groups. I am
running Norton Internet Security 2004, and have tried disabling this
to send emails, and it does not make a difference. I have tried this
on a laptop that i have and the emails send with no problems. I have
copied the settings exactly for the internet and outlook, and have
still got problems when sending emails. Does anyone know how to send
emails and avoid the 554 response?
