SMTP API or MAPI on .net

hi

I ma looking for sending mail from my CF app. It does not look like the SMTP
api is provided in CF.
Neither MAPI is provided.

If I have to use MAPI, I have to develope a wrapper and use it.

which is a very long shot.

Why can't Microsoft could just add the SMTP into CF?
