I created a PP presentation on another computer where it
ran smoothly. Copied it to cd, then copied to my home
computer and it seems to have glitches - the music
doesn't start when it's supposed to - the slides just
seem to take a while to load. It's quite large:137
slides with 6 embedded wav files. I would like to
capture and burn to cd using a program called DVDX-Point,
but if it doesn't run smoothly on pc, I don't want it to
record to dvd with glitches. I have tried to close
background programs, and I turned off the auto save
feature. Any ideas??

DVD XPoint may play it smoothly, so I would go ahead and try it. It doesn't
record the playing of the presentation on your system. It translates the
presentation file, which is why you may find it to be okay, or it may have
different problems.

How large is the file? What is the difference between the two computers - -
processor speed, memory, etc.? Also, it would be good to be sure that your
hard drive is defragged and your Temp folder is emptied. I'm sure there are
other things, but my brain is in fade mode. Others will chime in hopefully.
