Looks like the program has disabled a program that I use
very often. Your progam says that its adware when it
definitley is not from my experience. All of my friends
and family have it installed also and I have not heard
anything regarding any problems with adware.

Anybody else have a similar experience?

Thanks

Hi Cindy,

Maybe there are different flavors or routes of Smiley Central? It may be
that it is bundled with 'other' programs or files that are unattractive.
I had a hand to hand experience with it being dropped on a machine last
week, when the user had specifically told the program 'no thanks.' User
tried to 'Red X' away from it, and this thing later showed up all over the
place, and even embedded on the browser.
Considering those circumstances, I was wishing this program had been out
then. :) I was able to give it the broom using other tools.

You might wish to do a search thru Google or another engine and see if there
are some other opinions.

I disagree. Smiley Central is spyware.

I have had to remove countless versions from corporate
network systems because of the problems it causes with IE
at times.

As long as people keep installing I keep billing for my
services.

Cheers
