.smil link doesn't play with Media Player anymore

Hello all,

I went out of town for the weekend and returned to find that when I
click on links w/ the .smil extension, they no longer play on MP. I
haven't changed anything but instead of playing, IE asks me to SAVE,
etc. and I can't get it to play, says not recognied as a file type for
MP. I have been using this same web page for a month w/o issues but
now...

I miss my NPR "Wait, wait, don't tell me" broadcast.
