SMC wireless network card caused failure to start up.

Hello, all. I was wondering if any one of you experienced
a problem with installing an SMC wireless network card in
Win 2K Pro?

I've 2 machines that work fine. However, as soon as I
install the same card, the machines start up but there's
just nothing appears on the monitor screen. It's just
pitch dark! I don't see any memory check... nothing!

What should I do? My machine are 3 and 5 years old
respectively. It's because the motherboards are too old to
support the latest PCI network card? Pls help me out.

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of your wireless device? Do they
have a web presence? toll-free tech support hotline?
