Hi
I want to buy a wireless router.. it is on sale right now for C$29.99, it is
SMC Wireless 802.11b 4-Port Router .
What do you think about this router? I want to make a network of 2
computers? will that cost me a lot (I know I need to buy wireless network
cards as well), how much are they (an average), will SMC Wireless router
works with any wireless network card? In summary do you recommend me to buy
that router? is it good price?? thanks a lot.

As long as the router as good firewall interface it should be fine. Any
802.11b wireless card works with the router. 30 bucks for a wireless router
is good price. I would buy it. Worst comes worse could always sell it on
ebay if you dont like it.

I would look for a 'network in a box' setup. 2 cards, router, antenna, everything you need all the same product brands (which is a
plus when I comes to tech support)
