Hello!
I have a problem.
I've got some strange new virus.
It changed my desktop into black and white inscription: "YOU ARE IN DANGER".
I cannot remove it.
Panda, MKS, No-Adware and lots of others did not help!

Please tell me what to do!!!
Moreover, my starting Explorel page is always SMARTSEARCh and all ways to
change it did not succeed!

Please please help me or I'll fire this computer!

Do yourself a favour and don't include your phone number at the end of
your Usenet postings. (I've removed it from my reply, for what it's
worth.)

Smartsearch is a CWS (CoolWebSearch) variant, which can be removed by
CWShredder: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html (It's
number 26 on the list of CoolWebSearch variants.)

Hope that helps,
Ian.

Ian, thanks a lot.
Sorry for the number but that wsas included automatically and I did forget
to delete it.

Once again, thanks a lot!
HAVE A NICE DAY!

And you also, Marcin. I hope that CWShredder does the trick for you.

Cheers,
Ian.

You can also download and use the excellent freeware application "Hijack
This!", [from the same people who produced CWShredder], which is the best
way of ensuring browser exploits don't last long on your computer.
I don't know what browser you use, but if it is Internet Explorer I advise
a change to Mozilla, or Mozilla Firefox, far more secure than IE.
You'll find Hijack This along with CWShredder here
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html , and the range of Mozilla
browsers, [if you need them], here
http://www.mozilla.org/

Hope this might be useful to you....
