smart pops

My internet explorer keeps tellng me that it has created
an eroor and needs to close. Then when it does a report
the report tells me that the error was likely caused by
smart pops. When I do a search of my computer it comes up
with nothing named smart pops. Any idea about what is
going on. Has anyone else run across this problem?

First eliminate any scumware.

Ray,

Go to Add/Remove Programs and check for "Media Loads".... should be
there!!! That is the name of the program associated with Smart Pops.
REMOVE IT. That will fix the problem.

Is not part of Windows, but is spyware... and not a clue where it
comes from. But somehow got installed on your computer.. probably
from a site without your knowledge.
