can a win ce device be used as a smart display? if not,
why not?
my hp ipaq 5555, except for screen size and resolution,
seems to have the equivalent hardware of a smart
display. seems 2 me the only thing missing is the smart
display software, available from the smart display
vendors. a smart display is only useful as a single-
location device, or a "luggable," but a handheld is TRULY
portable. if mine won't work, how about the new hi-res
handhelds?
is the smart display vendor software device-specific, or
is it like windows media center edition, merely a
marketing ploy?
how about legacy devices: touchscreens, light pens and
audio vector devices?
why WON'T a laptop or tablet pc work? i've never heard
of an operating-system-compatable machine being made
incompatable by reason of over-capacity. is this a
technological step backwards, or another marketing ploy?
