Hello,
I'm facing a problem with the smart client technology. We have a smaller
application (around 5mb) which we want to deploy with smart client technology.
This works but the problem is, the exe and dll are downloaded each time the
applicaiton is started. It's logical that the very first time the whole stuff
has to be downloaded. But without any assembly change, the exe and dll are
downloaed every time the applicaiton starts.
The tool 'gacutil /ldl' shows the correct version of the exe and dll and the
entries are there before I start the application for the x. time.
What's the problem? ANY help is appreciated.
