SMART BAD but disk looks OK

SMART reports it as BAD but I've booted using ultimatebootcd and ran a
shedload of disk checking utilities and its come up fine...

Is it possible the SMART is incorrect?

Very, very unlikely. Unless there was another problem, such
as a bad PSU and you did the test in a different computer.
