Small text in printed messages

My dad has an HP Photosmart C4250 all in one printer.
When he prints from the internet or Microsoft Outlook Express
the print font is TINY, maybe 2 points.

Any idea on what adjustment we need to make to either the printer
settings or Windows XP?
 
Outlook Express is 'controlled' by Internet Explorer, so launch IE, then
under View, click on Text Size and make it bigger.
