I an looking after my local primary schools network and have some probs I
need help with please.

1. 10 windows XP clients into a win2k server ands 1 dedicated firwall
computer running XP and winproxy5a.

I need to set all accounts to the proxy settings, without going into each
account on diferent clients.

2. same thing with setting the network printers

Sorry to ask but I am a complete nOOb with networking.

TIA Michael

I would have thought that you would be able to use Group Policy to make the
changes below. W2K has extensive documnetation on this subject, just browse
the help files for Group Policy.

Basically, as long as you clients are a member of a domain, they will get
this setting automatically as and when they log on to the domain.

If you're in an Active Directory setting, you can use group policies
to set these. Otherwise, you may need to do it in a login script.
There's no magic "Click here to change these settings" button.
