small problem(s)

A while back I had a trojan virus(s) I no longer have it.
I dont have the status bar at the bottom of my IE page,
and I want it back. Also I keep getting a pop up that
says a new dll has been added by IE it tells you to go to
tools Internet options and security tab I cant find
anything that has to with dll How do you shut it off,My
clean mgr.exe keeps wanting to run I can shut it off and
around 30 minutes later its back Also when I try to
download updates it will download them, But when the
computer goes to install them, my computer shuts down and
then restarts. I have adware, spybot, hijackthis, cw
shredder, sygate firewall(broadband) xp home Iam at my
wits end and ready to take a sledgehammer to the thing

well... to get the status bar back... open internet
explorer and then open the view menu, then click on
statusbar.

You've run a Scan with Hijack This and posted the scan results to the
appropriate forum for investigation?

About Cleanmgr.exe (part of Disk cleanup in W98se; I don't know how it
operates in XP home). Start the program and access clean up drive
whatever>OK>settings tab>see if it is set to clean up if Disk space runs
low. Do you have plenty of free disk space?

I wonder if you've completely rid your machine of all malevolent
possibilities.
