i have connected to 2 computers using a hub, i am able 2
use the inetnet on both the computers at the same time but
i am not able to network both thes ecomputers. where am i
wrong? i am not used to this stuff

If I understand your configuration correctly from your decription, by using
a HUB to connect to the Internet, you have two public connections. Your
computers are not on the same subnet so you do not have a LAN. If you were
able to share files between them, everyone else on the Internet would have
easy access to the same files.

Replace the HUB with a router. Then you will have a LAN and you will be
able to share files. Alternatively, connect one computer to the ISP then
using a second NIC in that computer connect to the HUB and using ICS share
the connection with the second computer.
