Small network problem

when iconnect my Win 2000 laptop to my winxp desktop both
computers find the network the desktop can access shared
folders on the laptop the laptop however asks for a
network password there is no network password and the
network password box will not accept any input has any one
got any ideas on this

Run the Network Setup Wizard on the desktop (not on the laptop) to
fully enable file sharing:
