Small Desktop Area

I have a Dell Latitude c610 computer with Windows 2000 OS. The desktop
screen area is approximately 6 inches x 5 inches while the black area
surrounding the desktop area is approximately 3 - 4 inches wide.

How can I enlarge my desktop area?

Maybe a Q for Dell, as to how to amend screen size, its not likely to be
anything to do with win2k

Try right clicking anywhere on the desktop and going to Properties. Then
go to the settings tab and try increasing the screen area (if it isn't
already at its maximum size).
