Hello All,

Issue....Clients that have Accounting 2008 Pro and Office 2007 Pro linked to
the Small Business Server can not get BCM stup for use on any client. The
problem is there is no BCM database in Outlook that shows up in the setup
window.

I can only assume that this is due to the fact that Office 2007 is not
installed on the server that hosts the Accounting SQL database. I hope
someone can tell me about this. I need to resolve this very soon.

Hi Dennis,

Did you get a chance to read the white paper on Database Tool?
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...ee-9ad5-4be5-b888-c9a50ae395ca&displaylang=en

If not, please go thru it and let me know if you are still having a
problem.

Dennis,

No, you do not need Office installed on the SBS server. Please do read
the white paper Sateesh linked to. If you are on a workgroup, make
sure all the users have the same account name and passwords on both
their own machines and the server.
