Have WinXP Pro in desktop computer (not notebook). SM Bus Controller has
yellow ? in Device Manager. Properties says driver is missing. Driver not
found in WinXP Pro disk. Where can this driver be found? Thanks for all

If has a built in card reader, go to the PC manufacturer's website. You
should be able to download the correct drivers there.

Computer does not have card reader. Is this a driver that is associated
with the motherboard? If not, what computer component does the driver
control? Video card or? Computer is not a branded computer but is
assembled with components by various manufacturers such as Gigabyte
motherboard, Intel processor, ATI Radeon video card, Creative Soundworks
audio card, Western Digital hard drive, Plextor CD-R/RW, Sony DVD R+/- and
Samsung RDRAM. Thanks again.for your help.

Good advice. Downloaded and installed newest drivers for motherboard
chipset & BIOS from Gigabyte. SM Bus Controller is nowhere to be found
along with yellow ? Every thing appears to be OK. Many thanks for your
advice.
