Sluggish response

Sluggish response when moving between emails. Thee's are
emails i have already downloaded and to move from on to
the next will take 4 or 5 seconds. im running outlook
2002 on xp on a 2.8 gig p4 with 512 meg of ram. I have
already ran virus check in safe mode and it found nothing.
 
See if disabling the Messenger integration speeds things up for you;
Tools-> Options-> tab Other
