My computer desktop (Windows XP Home) just started to
load real slow. I seem to remember years ago on one of my
older machines Norton AntiVirus, FireWall or both was the
problem. I tried running the Norton uninstaller and
Add/Remove programs, no luck. Does anyone know how to
take Norton off my machine manually? If not have any
ideas where it might be posted on the web? Thank you.

Yes, it did help. Those links helped me get Norton off my
machine. The computer is working as advertised now. Thank
