Slowing down the start menu?

When I mouse over folders in the start menu, they slowly
come up. When I move the mouse off the folder they
disappear instantly, though. I'd like to slow that down as
it makes navigating difficult - one small slip and the folder
tree disappears instantly. Argh!

Help?

That sounds like the x-mouse setting in TweakUI. Haven't used it, but
I'll make a guess that its speed might be controlled by the menu speed
slider in the TweakUI primary mouse area.
