Hi.
I recently bought a new PC - relatively high
specification. An old PC game I used to use on my old
machine (which is a lot less powerful) actually runs
slower now? The game is virtual pool hall, and (although
not as bad) the problem seems to happen slightly on
virtual pool 3. Both games are made by interplay.
I have got the latest driver for the graphics card (which
is a geforce fx5200) and i have got the latest patches for
both games. I have searched the interplay website and can
find no known issues with windows 2000 or my graphics
card. Wondering if there is anything that might be able to
be done to speed up both games?
Also, I have been having a fair amount of trouble running
GTA: Vice City. However, i think the game is relatively
buggy anyway - a friend had some trouble on a different
machine running XP.
Any help gratefully received. James
