Hi,

Im running Windows 2003 server. I noticed that as I go down the directory
tree of a windows share that entering the next directory takes a long time.
E.g when I click on a folder it takes a long time to show the directory
contents. But, when I click on the first couple of directories in a share
it's pretty fast.

Can I speed this up? Are there any performance hacks I can do?

Thanks.

How many entries in your directory?

Well, from about 4 directories in it gets slow. Some of the directories have
20 files and some have only a few but, it's noticeably slow both times.

Thanks.
