Internet explorer has started to run very slowly over the
last 2 weeks. If i'm on a webpage which you can scroll
down quite a way such as ebay or something it takes an age
to scroll down the screen, the reaction of the mouse
pointer over hyperlinks is also just as slow,as is typing
etc. If i minimize explorer and use another aplication
that will run ok, hence there is no apparent ram problem
with my pc as all other progs run fine. Also occasionaly
if i download a file i get a "hard disk full" message and
it starts up "disk cleanup", I know there is plenty of
space on my hardrive for these files.I run broadband which
is as fast as ever, no loss of speed, windows ME and like
I say this problem has only occured recently. Oh yes
antivirus foubd some viruses but these were cleaned up,
could there be others hiding. Hope someone can make some
sense of this. Please contact me if you have any
suggestions.
Thanks Martyn Vaughan

I am having the exact same problem. The only difference is
that I am running Windows 98. Any suggestions would be
helpful -this is very aggravating!
