I am running Windows 2000 SP2. I have done a
defragmentation and even swapped the hard drive to a
different machine, yet the system is very slow. Copying
large files (50 MB) from one folder to another on the same
hard drive takes approx. 10 minutes. The PC is a 1.4 GHZ
intel with a 40 GB hard drive. The machine is brand new.
Does anyone have an idea of why the system is this slow.
There is plenty of space on the hard drive. (15 GB)
