64 of ram. does asnyone know whats up with this?

I think that this machine should be running fairly well.
You might want to take the maching to a computer shop and
have them test all the hardware. Your processor,
motherboard, or hard drive could be causing this. What I
am saying is, if there is not hardware problems and this
is a fresh load of windows with no problems then you will
probuably need to upgrade your ram to 256 or 512M. But I
have a feeling your hard drive is going out.

Check your bios has the FrontSideBus at the correct speed.
AMD athlons and mainboards don't sort this out amongst themselves.
A way to check is Control panel/System/General, and check your processor is
reported correctly as a XP2200,and the speed should be 1.8GHz.
If not, go into your BIOS setup at bootup.
Your processor is FSB 266MHz, and bios should have speed set to 133MHz.
