My USB 1.1 Lexar Flash Jump Drive runs much slower in
Windows XP USB2.0 port. I changed the properties to use
caching, but it still runs much slower than it does on my
Windows 98 and Me machines. Any idea why?

You probably installed a Lexar driver so it would run on
W98, but XP is using default drivers. Look at the Lexar web
site to see if they have a better XP driver.

Also, are you sure your USB is working at 2.0 speed, check
the BIOS to see what is enabled. My Intel board has USB 2.0
hardware, but the BIOS can be set to all three USB speeds
1.0 , 1.1, 2.0.
