I recently upgraded a remote location PDC from NT4 to W2K
Server. I am not running Active Directory yet, so my
servers are running in mixed-mode. After I completed the
upgrade my remote users at this location experience a
VERY long logon process to our Terminal Servers (W2K)
located at our corp. HQ. It can take up to 15 minutes for
the TS logon process to complete. The PDC at our corp.
office is running NT4. The WAN is frame-relay with a 384k
PVC. Any ideas as to what is going on here? Any help is
GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!

If this was a network problem, have you tried running a
network monitor to see what might be the problem?

How big are the profiles in use (if you are using roaming
profiles)?

What service pack are you running on the terminal server?

HOLD THE HORSES!!!! You upgraded to a 2000 domain. You now have to totally
reconfigure DNS in your domain. That is the delay.

Since we're still running in mixed-mode, and using WINS,
I didn't think that DNS came into play. Am I wrong? If
so, what changes do I need to make to the DNS server(s)??
