slow to load personal settings?

mu system now in the last couple of weeks takes 2 to 3 mins to start what's
going on? any answers would be great thanks
 
I'm sorry I can't answer your question, but I've been
having the same problem. All I can think of is that the
profiles are becoming larger and larger so it's taking
longer and longer to start up. I've been looking for a
place to go to clean up a profile, but I've yet to find
it. If I find an answer, I'll be sure to reply to this
post.
 
Had my system a month, last few weeks, its takes 2
MINUTES to start up! It takes 90 seconds on the black
Windows XP splash screen!

I'm running XP Pro SP1
