My problem: I had slowdowns while playing some games (Rally Sport
Challenge,..)

My answer:
I solve it by increasing the VGA MEMORY in the BIOS to 256 Mo (it was
32Mo by default).
I disable LAN in the BIOS too.
and Everything's OK now.

I write it down because I saw people deals with same problem on the
internet.
hope this help

I read an interesting piece somewhere on the net about what size AGP memory
should be set in the bios. The sweet spot appears to be 128 megs. I know
on my own system (9800 flashed pro with 128 megs of memory) that if I set
AGP memory size to be 256 megs, it results in poorer performance. 128 megs
is just right.

Take a look at other peripherals in your bios and turn them off too if you
are not using them. For example serial ports, parallel ports, usb ports,
etc. all use resources and if you are not using them, turn them off and get
better performance.
