I realize I am grasping at straws a bit here but thought
I would give this a try.
In one of my company offices, a few users have OL2002 and
most have OL2000. These people connect via a LAN-
extension to our main office where the Exchange (5.5)
servers are located - mailboxes are stored on the server
(s). Those with OL2002 are reporting slow response times
to access individual messages, and it's typically worse
when there are messages. This extends to accessing
messages in any folder - including Sent Items and Deleted
Items. We don't get the message about any delays in
connecting to the email servers. Access to the email via
OL2000 is perfect - no delays.
Of note, I have turned OFF the "Enable Instant Messaging
in Outlook" feature. This was confirmed as a potential
hurdle in the past, but does not seem to be the fix this
time.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
Many thanks!
