Hi -

When I am renaming files in Windows Explorer (Win2k pro) or even selecting
them to copy/move or rename, there is a noticible delay sometimes. such as
after I rename a file I am unable to copy/move it to another drive/folder for
10-15 or more seconds. this does not happen all the time, but often.

I have defragged, spy/adware scans and virus scans clean, and have tried
disabling firewall / Norton AV / other services....

any suggestions???

I should add that it seems to only be affecting .mp3 files, when i select or
rename more than a few it slows the process down, where right clicking takes
10-15 seconds to highlight the name, and if i click within the name it is
another few seconds before i can type the new name, and it takes another 10 -
15 seconds before i can select the next file.

I am running an Intel P4, 200mhz, 1gig ram, win2k pro, plenty of free hard
drive space, defragged, spy/ad/virus free machine.
