Slow Processing Speed

Hi out there! Was wondering if someone could help . . . my system is
extremely, excruciatingly slow. We have ADSL and we have deleted everything
from our desktop, removed any programs we are using, run a disk clean up and
defragmentation and nothing seems to be speeding this baby up! Help!

Need a little more info.
Do you a anti virus program? Is it up to date? Do you have a anti spyware
program is it up to date?

Most likely background ad/spy programs are on the system, these can help in
removal:

AdawareII www.lavasoft.de
Spybot www.safer-networking.org
