Slow Printing

PowerPoint files seem to print incredibly slow on my
system. Are there any generic troubleshooting guides for
solving slow printing problems? I'm generally printing
drafts for review, so quality isn't absolutely critical.

Thanks,
Todd

You can click "Tools", "Options", and on the "Print" TAB uncheck "Background
printing". See if that helps.

Todd,

When you go
file > print
Click "properties" next to the printer name.,..... then have a look through all the options... try and find a quality or
resolution setting. Then lower it (eg. 1200 dpi to 300 dpi). That will speed things up a lot

I'll give it a try. Initial testing didn't seem to make
too much difference. The print job just seems to take an
inordinate amount of time. I'll keep trying.

Thanks for the feedback. Although I've tried this before,
I'll give it another shot. It clearly reduces the size of
the print job, and I'm sure that helps.

I'll keep trying.

Thanks,
Todd
