I'll start this by admitting that I'm not fluent when it come to diagnosing computer problems. I am currently having a problem with programs locking up; the more I have open, the more it locks up. Lately, I can have as few as two applications running, and everything locks up. The only way of getting things feed up is by using ctrl-alt-delete. I ran into this same problem a couple of years ago when I was running Windows 98, and I fixed the problem by using msconfig. At this point I'm lost. Any suggestions?

Have you done a system maintenance lately. Scandisk, Defrag, Clean Disk
etc ? Checked for Virus,
spyware, trojans and adware. You can use these sites to check
