Slow performance

I had some problems w/ my win xp pro.I had been playing
this particular computer game for some time and recently
when I start to load the saved game,it closes down
itself.I had been trying to edit startup files but I
don't know how.Pls anyone help me...any tips or advice
pls mail me,thank you very much
 
Don't try to edit anything if you don't know how. You're only inviting
trouble.

[Presuming that your efforts to "edit startup files" haven't made the
problem worse:] Uninstall the game and restart your computer. Problem gone?
Then the game was the problem. Contact the game's creator for assistance.
