Our company bought new computers 2months ago with Windows
XP. I have 512MB Ram and run on Pentium 4 Processor
2.6GHz. 2days ago I started to have slow performance
problems. It doesn't matter what program I'm using, it's
all slow. I also can't perform a disk cleanup even
though I've done so in the past.

Anyone have a solution?

Thanks

Hi Lisa,

1. Spybot

2. Disk Cleanup freezes during the Compressed File Phase: This edit
corrects the problem:

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

Check the Task Manager / Process Tab and see what is running high processor
percentage. Run Disk Cleanup and Defrag. Check for viruses on a updated
antivirus program. Run Adaware and or Spybot and check for adware. Jym
