Hi

I have IBM pentum 4 with 128 of RAM and windows XP
Windows performance is very slow for all the applications
Is my computer resorce acceptable for windows XP, if so how can i improve the performance

Hi

Your system could do with another 128Mb RAM to speed it up. Try the Defrag
program to see if that helps:

Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragmenter.

Also Disk Cleanup:

Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup.

256mb is a minimum l find for Win2K and WinXP

My maths isn't too good this morning - should have typed 384 Mbs - but then
that will all depend on what apps. are being used.

Hi Adel

I can support the additional-RAM argument. I used to have 128 MB on P4, 2.5 GHz, XP Home machione. It got bogged down something fierce in the past couple months. A couple days ago I added 256 MB (384 MB total) and the machine runs like new, like a speed demon! Good Luck.
